The One Place I Call Home

Mark: Time for some more nap time photos. Also, quick update: Song Yi did have a positive reaction to the TB skin test, so we had to do the chest x-ray this morning. Thankfully, it went really well and she's all clear to come home! She was very excited, because it also means we get to swim in the pool again today!


We enjoyed our time at the Guangzhou Zoo with Helen (she's taking the picture, not in it...)


Clearly, she's not photogenic... :) Don't you just want to eat her up?


Mama went shopping and got 3 matching dresses (unfortunately, Song Yi will have nothing to do with hers) and pearls. Yes, those are real pearls for Lilla.


This was Mama's opportunity for a glamour shot. Shamian Island is full of beautiful big trees. Unfortunately for all of us, you just can't walk 5 steps without sweating profusely.


The pool attendants let us take pictures at the pool when it was closed and there were no other guests there. Lilla is hiding in the cave behind the waterfall at the pool. Not sure why she's carrying Lou around...


This park was behind the zoo. The name says it all. I really wanted to go, but we went to a yummy noodle shop instead. That's Happy World for me. :)
